The SeniorsChannel CEO Julie Hogarth-Williams is thrilled to join forces with Rebecca Hogan–a compassionate, Aged Care industry disruptor and innovation start-up consultant. Rebecca joins The SeniorsChannel as the first Aged Care expert on the newly formed Advisory Board.
Rebecca is a respected Aged Care leader and her passion for elder advocacy is renowned within the sector. Chair for LASA Next Gen National Advisory Council, Head of Partnerships and Fundraising and a Partnership Manager for leading RTO, Arc Training, and a successful industry consultant through 3CManagement, Rebecca works to support start-up innovations who are working to disrupt the market and improve service delivery and wellbeing outcomes for seniors.

Rebecca says, “I have been following Julie’s incredible commitment to bringing joy to seniors through music, even before the idea of The SeniorsChannel was formed. Music programs are often overlooked within the industry, and it is difficult to gain support and funding…When Julie announced her concept to provide interactive concerts on-demand, I was her first and biggest cheerleader.”
Rebecca goes on to highlight the gap between current lifestyle solutions and the need for standardised activity planning.
“There is an evident gap in standardised and purposeful activity service design in Residential Aged Care and The SeniorsChannel has the potential to build organisation and employee capacity, to improve health and wellbeing outcomes through active participation for our ageing population. I believe it’s all about doing ‘with’ and not ‘for’.”
I am excited to be working with Julie to support her vision for The SeniorsChannel and encourage a co-design approach with providers. Our immediate objective is to:
- Collaborate with providers to diversify and add value to their social intervention strategies, and,
- Integrate with established platforms to ease the implementation process for the provider and their staff.”
